Contactless payments are also beneficial for takeout orders.
Suppose a customer places a curbside pickup order but doesn’t pay in advance. “Safety is the number one priority right now,” he says. “You lose contact with our staff, But you can still see them for the 5 to 10 seconds . They deliver your meal to your table. Contactless dining is necessary right now, and the goal is to continue our business as safely as possible.”
“I think if we give customers that aero leads confidence by offering contactless dining, people will say, ‘I’d rather go to Coupa Café than somewhere else because they have these [contactless] options and they seem to be handling things as safely as possible.’ They minimize my contact.”
